Accounts
Signing up and signing in
What do I need to create an account?
You’ll provide your name, email address, a password, a business display name, and an available subdomain username. You can also choose up to six interests for your For You feed during signup.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use the password-reset page and enter the email connected to your account. Follow only the newest reset link you receive, and never share that link with anyone.
Where will I go after logging in or signing up?
SparLab returns you to the page you were trying to visit before authentication, including the relevant query or section of that page when available.
How do I report suspicious account activity?
Email hello@sparlab.io from the address connected to your account. Include what happened and when, but do not send your password, reset link, or authentication code.
Profiles and business pages
Making your work easy to understand
What is the difference between my personal profile and business profile?
Your personal profile describes you: your name, profession, introduction, experience, expertise, achievements, location, photo, and links. Your business profile controls the public business name, description, category, owner relationship, cover, social links, and SparLab subdomain.
Do I have to type “https://” before a website address?
No. You can enter a normal address such as yourwebsite.com or linkedin.com/in/yourname. SparLab normalizes supported web addresses before saving them.
How do I copy my public profile link?
Open Profile, switch to the relevant profile, and use the Copy link button beside the public profile link. The control becomes available when there is an active public address to copy.
Can visitors learn more about the business owner?
Yes. The owner’s name and owner card on a public business page link to a dedicated owner page with a short biography, professional details, achievements, and recent articles where available.
What happens when a business About section is long?
Long About text is folded after two lines. Visitors can choose Read more to expand it and Show less to fold it again.
Why is my chosen subdomain unavailable?
Another account may already use it, it may be reserved for a SparLab service, or it may not meet the username format. Try a distinct version using lowercase letters, numbers, or hyphens.
Discover and For You
Finding useful work
How does SparLab personalize my For You feed?
For signed-in users, SparLab uses the interests you select to prioritize matching published posts. Interests improve ordering; they do not prevent you from seeing other available work.
Do I have to choose interests?
No. New users can choose up to six interests or select Not now. You can still use Discover if you skip the prompt.
What is the pinned owners’ video?
It is a featured update from the people building SparLab, positioned before regular For You posts. Until a video is published, the slot shows a clear poster state rather than loading missing media.
What can I search for?
Search can help you find available businesses, people, usernames, owners, and products. Try a broader name or product phrase if an exact search has no result.
Publishing
Content, images, and public visibility
What should I check before publishing?
Review names, factual claims, ownership or permission for images, captions, links, public visibility, and how the content represents you or your business. Do not publish confidential information.
Are drafts public?
Drafts are intended for your account workspace. A post becomes part of the public experience when you publish it. Always confirm the status before sharing a link.
What images can I use for my profile?
The profile editor accepts PNG, JPG, and WebP images up to the limit shown beside the upload control. Use an image you have permission to make public.
Does SparLab guarantee search ranking or AI visibility?
No. Clear, factual, connected information can make a business easier to understand, but SparLab cannot guarantee search placement, AI recommendations, traffic, or business results.
Feature availability
What is available now?
Why does Workspace show “Coming soon”?
The authority Workspace is not open yet. Selecting it should keep you on the current page and show a Coming soon notice instead of opening the dashboard.
Which other navigation options are coming soon?
Writing Studio, Knowledge Graph, Analytics, and Automations are currently marked Coming soon. Their navigation controls should announce that status without taking you to an unfinished page.
Where can I see features that work today?
Use Discover to browse and search, Profile for personal details, the business editor for public business details, and Content from your signed-in navigation for available publishing records.
Privacy and support
Your information and help requests
What information on my page is public?
Anything you publish on a public profile, business page, owner page, gallery, or article can be viewed and shared by anyone. Review the Privacy Policy for more detail.
How do I ask for account information to be corrected or deleted?
Email hello@sparlab.io from the address connected to the account where possible. Explain which account or public page the request concerns. SparLab may need to verify the request before acting.
What should I include in a support email?
Include your account email, the affected page or public URL, what you expected, what happened, and a screenshot if it is safe to share. Never include your password, reset link, or authentication code.
